News: TVN Visits “2NE1 Forest” in South Sudan, Africa

Earlier this year, 2NE1 fans had donated a forest of mango trees to a village in South Sudan, Africa and tvN went to go see how it was doing.

Blackjacks from all around the world donated 1,210 mango trees to the village of Tonj through Tree Planet Korea’s ‘Star Forest Project‘. The mango tree doesn’t provide just food – it also provides cool shade for everyone in the heat of the African summer. The villagers were so thankful for 2NE1 and their fans that they were all holding up signs that read ‘Thank you 2NE1‘.

If you guys can remember, WeLoveDara/OhDara through your generous donations, was also able to participate in this project during 2NE1′s New Evolution Concert in Seoul. To those who want to view the project, click here!
